The sprawling balconies overlooking the lake were perfect for bird-watching.or dozing off. The lounge areas offered a private oasis, just what I needed after mingling with the common folk. And the breakfast? Exquisite.

Oh, how I adored being stranded in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. Such a shame.

We also enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan food and the personal service provided by the staff. it was a perfect experience for our family.
